BWIT celebrates Girls in ICT Day 2015 on 23 April 2015, Thursday

Bangladesh Women in Technology, celebrates Girls in ICT 2015 on 23 April 2015 at 2:30 pm at Tawfiq Aziz Seminar Hall, The Daily Star. Girls in ICT is an initiative of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). This is a global effort of ITU to raise awareness on empowering and encouraging girls and young women to consider studies and careers in ICTs.http://girlsinict.org/what-girls-ict-day. The initiative is committed to celebrate and commemorate the International Girls in ICT Day as established by the ITU membership. This years theme Expand Horizons, Change Attitude. Mrs. Hosne Ara Begum, Managing Director, Hi Tech Park Authority, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. Students, UCEP Students, Academia, Corporate Professionals, Entrepreneurs are expected to participate. To mark the day BWIT is organizing an Apps Contest on social awareness and winners will be awarded at the event.
